Name your template like a pro, not a file_final_v2
TemplateTonic generates sharp, memorable names for the templates you make and share — documents, spreadsheets, slide decks, designs, emails, planners. Pick a category and naming style, generate a batch, copy the winners. Everything runs 100% in your browser: no signup, no server, nothing stored.

- Names are starting points: always check trademarks and existing products before publishing a template under a generated name.
- Brandable outputs are invented words — they mean nothing until you give them meaning with a good template.
- Keyword-led names describe an audience; they do not guarantee anyone is searching for that phrase.
- Output never leaves your browser, so favorite names must be copied or downloaded to be kept.
Why template names matter more than you think
A template called "new spreadsheet (3)" gets opened once and forgotten. One called "Weekly Cash-Flow Tracker for Freelancers" gets downloaded, bookmarked and shared. The name is the first thing a user reads and the last thing they remember — it carries the promise of what the template does and who it is for. Template marketplaces, Notion galleries and internal company wikis all reward templates whose names state their value plainly.
Good template names do three jobs at once: they describe the thing ("Invoice Tracker"), signal the audience or benefit ("for Freelancers"), and stay short enough to scan in a list. Most homemade names fail the third job — they are either cryptic ("Q3_stuff") or overloaded ("The Ultimate All-in-One Complete Business Finance Management Spreadsheet Template v2 FINAL"). The sweet spot is descriptive but tight, and that is exactly what TemplateTonic's four styles produce.
How the generator works
Enter an optional keyword — "invoice", "workout", "pitch deck" — or leave it blank and browse across seven template categories: document, spreadsheet, presentation, design, email, planner and code. Choose one or more naming styles:
- Descriptive: adjective + subject + "Template" — "Swift Budget Planner Template". Clear, professional, marketplace-ready.
- Brandable: coined short words — "Budgetly", "Trackio". For template brands and product lines.
- Keyword-led: subject + audience — "Invoice Template for Realtors". For discoverability in galleries and search.
- Versioned: subject + edition marker — "Meal Plan Template Pro". For premium tiers and updates.
Randomness comes from crypto.getRandomValues, duplicates are filtered, and every result has its own Copy button. Copy all pastes a batch into your notes; Download .txt keeps a shortlist offline.
